The Single Port Temperature and Humidity Sensor is a dual sensor device with a single port for use with an AKCP environmental monitoring base unit. The sensor is ideal for monitoring temperature and humidity in server rooms, data centres, warehouses, remote sites and industrial units.
Setup is simple as the sensor is autodetected and configured when connected to a sensorProbe, sensorProbe+ or securityProbe device. The thresholds for low and high warning parameters are user settable. A built-in graphing function in the base unit provides temperature and humidity trends over time.
Single Port Temperature and Humidity Sensor Features
- Temperature and humidity monitoring on a single sensor port
- SNMP OID for data collection via a network
- Temperature measurement from minus 40 to +75⁰C
- Relative Humidity measurement from 0 – 100%
- Powered by base unit with no additional power required
Available as a fixed length temperature and humidity sensor with 30cm (1ft) cable attachment or as a variable length sensor cable 1.5m (5ft) CAT5/6 cable that can be extended up to 305m (1,000ft).
Sensor Certification
The Single Port Temperature and Humidity Sensor is calibrated using dedicated equipment which is calibrated according to ISO/IEC 17025 and calibrated by comparison against natural standards, natural physical constants, consensus standards, or by ratio type measurements using self-calibrating techniques. Standards incorporated to establish this comparison are NIST and NPL traceable. The Single Port Temperature and Humidity Sensor complies with RoHS and WEEE requirements.
Note: the THS01-NIST3 Calibration Check with Failover Dual Temperature and Humidity Sensor is a version of this cable with Failover.
