HWg Monitor is a unique mobile application that can be used to display current sensor values recorded by HW Group monitoring devices and runs on Apple iOS and Android mobiles and tables.
HWg Monitor is a free to download App from the Google Play Android and Apple App stores and displays realtime sensor values, inputs and outputs from SensDesk Portal connected devices and/or local HW Group devices connected over Ethernet (WiFi).
HWg Monitor can be used with HW Group monitoring devices including: Perseus, STE2, Poseidon2, Damocles2, PWR, WLD2, IP Watchdog and periodically downloads and displays values from HW Group cloud servers. For each data source (device or portal), you can set a custom data recovery period. HWg Monitor allows you to easily sort sensors by device or select preferred sensors for priority display. HWg Monitor only supports Ares GSM/LTE gateway products connected to Sendesk. Ares is a gateway product using a GSM or LTE network and therefore does not include a WWW interface.
The App downloads and displays data at user-defined intervals, including the status display with colour coding. Red means the sensor is in Alarm mode and yellow indicates that the ensors is disconnected. HWg Monitor can also remotely control outputs on directly connected devices including Perseus, Poseidon2 and Damocles2.
Sensdesk Technology Portal
The HWg Monitor application connects to the Sensdesk Portal, but not everyone needs to have active support for this application. Support is dependent on XML API activation on the portal, which can be enabled or disabled by the portal operator. HWg Monitor does not work with HWg Cloud which is a limited (free) version of the Sensdesk Portal.
