The Avtech Digital Particulate and Temperature Sensor monitors both airborne particulate matter in the air and temperature, addressing a broad spectrum of safety applications. The sensor connects to a RoomAlert monitoring device and helps to protect occupant health by detecting wildfire smoke, industrial pollutants, and other harmful particulates. The sensor is an ideal solution for facility managers looking to proactively monitor and improve indoor air quality (IAQ) in order to demonstrate compliance with OSHA standards for safe air quality in workplaces.

The with the Digital Particulate and Temperature Sensor allows users to monitor airborne particulate matter (PM) and location temperature (-40°F to 257°F / -40 °C to 125 °C). The sensor reports both PM 2.5 (particulate matter with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less, often called fine particles) and PM 10 (particulate matter with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less) readings up to 1,000 µg/m3, making it versatile and effective for any setting where occupant safety and breathing safe air is important.
