Perseus Energy 242 M-BUS to Ethernet Gateway with Sensor Ports

Perseus Energy 242 is a LAN solution in metal case for the remote energy monitoring and control applications (meter data collection) via M-Bus Master. Perseus Energy 242 can also connect to external physical sensors (°C, %RH, A, V etc), Detectors (relay / dry contact) and the HW group WLD (Water Leak Detection) sensing cable. Third party meters (sensors) can also be connected via LAN or Modbus/RTU.

Perseus Energy 242 combines data from external physical sensors, detectors and meters with data from other HWg devices connected over a LAN. Local conditions, Lua scripting, the calendar and periodic scheduler help to analyse the measured data. Email or SNMP Trap alerts can be sent from the Perseus device. Measured values are available via an Open API (XML, Modbus/TCP, MQTT).

Perseus Energy 242 can be connected to the Sensdesk portal to provide a dashboard and functionality available over https. A unique feature of all Perseus products is the Meters API. This means that Perseus can read over LAN sensor values from other devices (e.g. the HW group STE2 R2) and use this data for analysis or alerting.
