The STE2 LITE is a simple-to-use LAN and WiFi Environmental Monitoring temperature sensor for IT environments, computer rooms and remote locations. Whenever a temperature exceeds the specified range an email notification is sent. Using an additional SMS-GW-LTE Gateway or email-to-SMS portal provides a way to generate SMS text alerts and phone calls.
The STE2 LITE has a built-in RJ11 port uses 1-Wire UNI technology and can monitor up to 4 external sensors, connected using a T-Bar. Other sensors include relative numidity, CO2, VoC, 4-20mA, water leakage and many others). Several RJ11 pug in sensors can be daisy-chained and a physical sensor can measure several values (°C + %RH = 2 values). The STE2 LITE can be monitored locally over a local area network using HWg-PDMS software or over the internet via the HWg Cloud or SensDesk Cloud portals or SensDesk Mobile App (iOS or Android).

Internet of Things (IoT) Applications
STE2-LITE is ideal for IoT applications and provides data transfer via Ethernet or WiFi. The HWg Cloud and SensDesk portals provide a quick view of the recorded data (up to 3 months) which can also be viewed on the SensDesk mobile application. Data can be sent via email, custom software or third-party Cloud applications using TCP and SNMP protocols. IoT PDMS software allows the data to be converted to Excel format for further analysis. Using SNMP support, STE2 logged data can be accessed via third-party IoT portals with data recorded in real-time and timestamped.
