Riello Sentinel Tower STW 4kVA/4kW Online UPS is a compact footprint double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply with built-in automatic and maintenance byapsses and an internal battery set. The UPS is ideal to protect computer and server rooms requiring a dedicated power supply from a centralised UPS system. The Sentinel Power can be installed as a single unit or in a parallel N+X or capacity configuration (up to 3x units).
The UPS runtime can be extended with optional battery extension packs. The Sentinel UPS range also includes ER (extended runtime) models with a more powerful 6A battery charger for long runtime applications.
The Sentinel Tower is an energy efficient UPS system with a Unity (kVA=kW) output power factor, and three operating modes including Online (95% energy efficiency), Eco mode (up to 98% energy efficiency) and Smart Active where the UPS automatically selects the best operating mode dependent upon the mains power supply quality.
The front panel backlit LCD display provides operating status information including load and battery levels, and alarm information. A dedicated EnergyShare socket outlet allows for load shedding when on battery, to increase the available runtime and provide sufficient runtime for a controlled computer/server shutdown using PowerShield3 UPS monitoring software (free download).
