What are the installation requirements for a Network IP Camera?

An IP camera can be installed to monitor a computer room, server room or space within a data centre. The camera will require an Ethernet connection, preferably cabled, a network switch and power supply. If Power over Ethernet (PoE0 powered the camera will require a PoE network switch or PoE injector. If AC powered the camera will need an AC power adaptor and one that is preferably powered from an uninterruptible power supply.
