The Vertiv Avocent 16-Port ACS 8000 Serial Console Server with a single AC power supply has dual-core ARM processor architecture with expanded memory capabilities, an updated Linux operating system and DSView management software, to provide optimal performance, security and reliability for a complete out-of-band management solution.

Avocent 8000 Console Servers allow IT professionals and network operations centre (NOC) personnel to harness new capabilities (including cellular, Gigabit fibre, USB and environmental sensors) to further enable them to perform secure, remote data centres management and out-of- band management of IT assets from anywhere in the world.
