The IP Relay HWg-ER02b RS232-485 Serial Port Ethernet Converter connects an RS232/485 serial port and a set of two digital inputs and two digital outputs to an Ethernet connection. The serial port of the device can be connected to a PC over the LAN, with the serial port accessible in Windows as a Virtual Serial Port (VSP). The digital inputs and outputs can be controlled over the Web or through Modbus/TCP. The device has a built-in web server for configuration and the HW VSP3 software application can connect to 100 remote serial ports to a single PC. Two IP Relay HWg-ER02b RS232-485 Serial Port Ethernet Converter devices can be connected in a Box-2-Box mode to extend the capabilities.
