Novec 1230 Fire Solutions

The Novec 1230 is a fast and environmentally clean agent fire suppression system for use in critical risk and enclosed areas including telecoms enclosures, computer rooms and datacentres. The system is approved for use in normally occupied areas.

Novec 1230 is stored under pressure as a liquid with nitrogen as the propellant gas and is discharged when active by a fire through the piping network in the protected room or area. The discharge time is under 30seconds.

Novec 1230 extinguishes fires by heat absorption and a chemical reaction at the flame front. The agent is non-conductive and non-corrosive and has no Ozone Depleting Potential, with a global warming rating of 1 and no impact on climate change.
