AKCP Contactless Current Meters

The ACKP CCM is a non-invasive contactless current meter for use with multi-core power cables up to 32Amps. The CCM does simply clamps around the power cord and can be used in new installations or fitted to existing installations without downtime. There is no need to split power cord cables as the CCM is completely non-invasive. CCM provides sufficient accuracy to monitor current usage in a server room or data centre for critical power and capacity planning. The information can also be used for PUE calculations and to provide a warning when approaching breaker tripping points.

• For cables up to 32A 1ph, 11-13mm diameter
• Inputs: magnetic field sensing of current in multicore cable
• Accuracy: +/-5% when factory calibrated on cable of same type, +/-10% on non-factory calibrated cable
• Operating Temperature: minimum -35°C to maximum 80°C
• Operating Humidity: minimum 20% to maximum 80% (Non-condensing)
• Interface Cable: RJ-45 jack to sensor using UTP Cat5e cable
• Power Source: powered from the AKCP environment sensor unit
• Power Consumption: typical 7.25mWatt, 1.45mA
• Maximum Cable Length: 50ft using standard CAT5/6 UTP cable
• Mounting: cable mounted into power cord
