What is a Security Control Room?

A security control room is a room dedicated to the security of a building or facility, where all the related systems can be monitored together including outside perimeter fences and entry gates/barriers, access control systems, video and CCTV camera surveillance systems, alarm security sytems, and fire control and other systems connected to a building management system (BMS) board. Security control rooms are commonly found on large sites such as an industrial manufacturing complex or data centre facility.
