Do the fire suppression trays have battery backup?

All Redetec units have 2x 1.2Ah 5 year design life sealed lead acid batteries built-in to provide up to 12hrs battery backup for a unit with standard detection. The battery provides protection from mains power supply failure but we would also recommend that the device is powered from an uninterruptible power supply for additional power protection. The battery is inspected during a preventative maintenance visit and will require replacement in years 3-4.
