AKCP PIR Hardware Motion Detectors

The PIR Hardware Motion Detector is a passive infrared motion detector. When motion is detected, notifications can be sent to give instant feedback about the developing situation. The unique design allows mounting in either ceiling or walls and characterises the optimum detection angle to prevent false alarms.

Although compatible with both sensorProbe and securityProbe product series, it is ideally suited to the securityProbe range. When combined with securityProbe 5E notifications, cameras, and security sensor the detector provides a complete network enabled security monitoring system.

When motion is detected, notifications can be sent from the securityProbe 5E via SMS, email or MMS and pictures from installed cameras can be attached to provide instant visual feedback.
