Description
Specification

The 1-Wire UNI 0-20mA Current Sensor is an isolated DC current sensor with a 1Wire-UNI bus that can measure currents from 0-20mA. The sensor is typically used with an industrial probe with 4–20mA output 4-wire and a discrete power supply to measure fuel in a storage tank. The sensor has an 8-point calibration table and can be calibrated using a 1W-UNI USB calibrator dongle. The sensor is designed for use with ARES, Poseidon2 and SD-2×1Wire environment monitors.

Key Features

  • Input: 0-20mA
  • Electrical isolation: built-in
  • Protection: 63mA fuse
  • Options: unit conversion, calibration
  • Interface: 1-Wire UNI (2x RJ11 for daisy-chaining)
  • Power: Bus-powered (1-Wire UNI): maximum two sensors per active port
  • Operating Environment: minus 30-85degC / 0–100% Relative Humidity
  • Cable Length: 3m

Applications

  • Connecting current transformers
  • Connecting electronic scales
  • Measuring the concentration of CO2 or other gases
  • Connecting pressure transducers or other industrial sensors
