The INGENIO PLUS slot-in Network Management Card allows an INGENIO Compact UPS to be monitored via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and a web browser or network management software. The SNMP card receives status information from the UPS and can send control commands to the UPS system. When the UPS alarms (mains failure, battery low, UPS overload, over-temperature or other settable alarm condition) the UPS can send a signal via SNMP to the connected servers for an automatic controlled shutdown.
